Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This vacuum cleaner is a great option for those who live in apartments as it has smaller docking systems and has its own garbage bin. The app lets you set up different modes and monitor cleans. The mopping feature is also very impressive.
Its mapping capabilities and obstacle avoidance are impressive, as is the fact that it scrubs very well, picking up pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and refills its water tank.
Roomba Combination from iRobot
The iRobot Combo adds mopping to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. It doesn't quite unseat our reigning Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which offers more cleaning power and an easier-to-use mobile app, but it does make for a strong alternative. It is able to pick up dirt from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't among the most advanced in the world, as it lacks structured light and other technology like LiDAR, but it managed to prevent most collisions with furniture and other clutter.
The Combo includes the majority of the same features as the j7 Plus with the addition of new acoustic sensors onboard to identify the type of floor and AI-powered navigation, however it isn't able to set suction power manually. It's also slightly less compact than the version that uses vacuum and doesn't include an auto-emptying dock.
The Combo is one of my top choices for homes with a lot of space. Its elegant design is also among the most attractive I've seen. The clean, matte black plastic looks superior to the competition's glossy or metallic finishes, and iRobot's little features--like a leather tab that can open the bin on the board and a shelf in the dock to store extra bags--are more elegant than the majority of its competitors'. The iRobot Combo also allows you to easily create maps of your home, as well as to create Keep-Out Zones, No-Mop Zones and Clean Zones.
Roborock

While Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop industry, it's already made a name for itself due to its suite of innovative cleaning technologies. Its vacuums boast industry-leading suction capabilities, while mopping systems from the company feature vibrating mops that scrub floors clean. You can also alter the cleaning routine of the bot by making use of a variety of scheduling and mapping options.
Another amazing Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance which allows the robot to detect objects that are lower than its height. robot vacuum cleaners uk robotvacuummops is particularly beneficial for Roborock's most popular models, such as the Qrevo Master. It is the best of its kind in terms of navigation, due to the combination of vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been reported to slam into pet waste and slam furniture, without even noticing. The Qrevo Master however, addresses this problem by using the Reactive Artificial Intelligence system that uses dual cameras to perceive the presence of objects in the room.
Roborock robots also have a number of convenience features that help reduce day-to-day maintenance. These include docks that can automatically empty themselves and multi-functional mop washing stations. They can make it easier to manually empty bins and wash mops, which makes for an entirely hands-free ownership experience. The app is simple to use due to its simple design and lag-free connection to the robot.
Hobot Legee D8
Hobot Legee, with its wide variety of cleaning features integrated and advanced mopping features, is among the top robot vacuums/mops that can be used on dry and wet floors. Its advanced navigation system blends five different technologies to plan and follow the most efficient route. It can also identify various flooring materials and obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. It can raise its body up to 7mm to glide across carpets. Smart spray system uses just the right amount of water for stain removal without leaving water marks.
The Legee is the Gen 4 Robot, competes directly against the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both robots cost more. It comes with more features than either of them and has a more flexible, D-shaped body that cleans the corners and under cabinets better than a round-shaped robot. Its sensors include 360deg (3D) (Lidar Encoder Gyro and E-compass) 4 forward-facing sensors and 1 right-side-facing (IR ToF distance sensors) and 2 pairs of cliff detectors both front and rear (most robots only have one pair). The system also has Legee SLAM to reduce the bump-andgrind issues that cause problems for Gen 4 robots.
Unlike most other robots, unlike other robots, the Legee comes with an integrated trash compactor that is compatible with the less noisy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The LuLu mop wash station is included and can wash, refill and dries your mop 'cloth. This means that you can use it up to six times longer than with other mops. It also reduces the amount of waste and frequency at which bins are empty.
Karcher RCV 5
Popular for its pressure washers and garden tools, Karcher has been dabbling in robot vacuums for a while and this is the brand's most tech-savvy model. It is powered by LiDAR and creates maps of your home and can be programmed to clean or mop. It can also distinguish between carpets and hard floors and prevent water puddles on your pile.
Its navigation is top-notch, avoiding furniture and rugs effortlessly and even lifting itself up over steps. The robot can be customised by adjusting a range of settings, including cleaning schedules and the rooms it should be cleaning. It also has an emergency button that can make the robot return to base if it runs out of power and can be programmed to automatically turn off when the weather is forecast to be stormy.
The RCV 5 is easy to use and, although quite hefty at nearly 4kg, it's not too difficult to manoeuvre around furniture. Safety features such as sensors that warn it to avoid stairs will be appreciated by those with small children. Once it is charged it takes just several hours to fully recharge and the two buttons at the top will blink in green to signal that it is ready for use.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner is a robot that balances advanced technology with a low price. It is a competitor to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra or Roborock's most popular Q Revo. Despite its price being lower, the Mova E30 Ultra offers features that more expensive models can't beat. It utilizes sensors to adjust its settings to different surfaces and floors as well as detect areas that are less clean and ensure they get enough attention. It can also move at a slower pace to prevent the destruction of furniture and walls.
You can also look at the map of your home within the app. You can also mark specific areas and objects you would like the vacuum to stay away from. The vacuum will slow down when it detects an obstruction and will avoid getting into it. It also comes with a smart dust bin which alerts you of its fullness so you can empty the bin on time.
The Mova E30 Ultra offers a cost-effective solution for those who wish to delegate their cleaning chores. It is a robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can clean your floors without you needing to lift a single finger. It also has a clever design that improves the efficiency of cleaning corners by up to 60%. It comes with a suction capacity of up to 7,000 Pa and RoboSwing arm, which can be controlled by the app or voice assistants such as Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3
The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RCV3 is a sleek, feature-packed vacuum and mop. It does a great job at keeping floors clean and tidy. While it can't raise its mop on carpets and rugs as the winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's excellent at cleaning hard floors and tackling mopping tasks with a remarkable speed. It also comes with a self-emptying bin that provides an excellent suction power, provides many mopping options and is controlled by a top-quality app that is compatible with both iOS and Android.
It's a bit smaller than most of the competition and its main brush is smaller than others, but it was able to get the job done in a short amount of our test room easily. The revolving edge brush on the side is a nice feature. While it didn't remove dirt as well as some of the competitors, it did a great job.
Individual cleaning parameters can be set for each room and the device will create detailed maps of rooms using built-in LiDAR navigation. It's simple to control through the app, and a range of voice output options will keep you informed of the status of your home robot. Regular software updates improve and extend the performance. The application can be used to remotely control the RCV3 even when you are away from home.
